On the occasion of the 25th anniversary commemorating the tragic events of December 6, 1989, Polytechnique Montréal launched the Week of the White Rose, now renamed the Campaign of the White Rose. This annual fundraiser, benefiting Folie Technique, Polytechnique Montréal's science outreach organization, aims to give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to participate in science awareness activities, through the sale of virtual white roses.
