Campaign of
the white rose
Over a period of more than 10 years, a total of more than $350,000 has been raised from the sale of virtual white roses and donations to the Campaign of the White Rose. In 2025, the funds were used to support a number of activities at Folie Technique, a non-profit science outreach organization at Polytechnique Montréal. For example:
- 102 girls from disadvantaged backgrounds attended a week-long science camp;
- Science workshops were held for 2,964 students (almost half of them girls) at elementary schools in disadvantaged neighbourhoods;
- 110 girls went to Folie Technique summer camps in all-girl groups.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP

This pays for transportation for one girl to attend summer science camp for one week.

This donation level covers the cost of lunches for one girl during a week-long camp.

This donation pays for two student facilitators from Polytechnique to lead a science workshop at a school in a disadvantaged neighbourhood.

This amount provides a young girl with a bursary and allows her to attend a week-long science day camp during the summer.

The Campaingn of the White Rose online donation page remains accessible year-round for those wishing to support the cause. On request, income tax receipts will be issued by thethe Fondation et Alumni de Polytechnique Montréal.
