the white rose
Over the past 10 years, more than $225,000 in donations received during Week of the White Rose appeals have benefited the activities of Folie Technique, Polytechnique Montréal’s science education and outreach organization.
In 2022, thanks to your generosity, the national fundraising campaign made it possible for:
- 51 young girls from disadvantaged communities to attend in a week-long science camp;
- 1,239 students from primary schools in disadvantaged communities, about half of whom were girls, to enjoy Folie Technique science workshops; and
- 110 girls to join all-girl Folie Technique summer camps.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP

This pays for transportation for one girl to attend summer science camp for one week.
$65
This donation level covers the cost of lunches for one girl during a week-long camp.
$150
This gift pays for two student facilitators from Polytechnique to lead an in-class science workshop at a school in a disadvantaged community.
$350
This amount provides a young girl with a bursary and allows her to attend a week-long science day camp during the summer.
